Brief History of the Taipa-Macau Distance Runners (TMDR)

The original idea to form a running association was first discussed on a trail on Coloane some time during 2000.........Rui Almeida and his running partner Robert Kirby run regularly on Taipa and Coloane and during one of these runs discussed the the opportunity of founding a running club...............Well in late 2002 the Taipa-Macau Distance Runners was launched and although it is basic in content currently we really want your assistance to develop it to become "World Class" and promote running in Macau & Greater China........
